Dr. Nazima Zakhidova is passionate about helping children thrive from infancy through young adulthood

Dr. Nazima Zakhidova is a board-certified pediatrician who believes every child deserves compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based care. She enjoys partnering with families through every stage of childhood, helping children grow into healthy, confident young adults while supporting parents along the way.
Whether providing preventive care, treating acute illnesses, or managing ongoing health concerns, Dr. Zakhidova strives to create a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and families feel heard. She takes the time to listen carefully, answer questions, and ensure parents feel informed and confident in their child’s care.

Born in Uzbekistan, Dr. Zakhidova moved to the United States as a child and grew up in McKinney, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Rice University before receiving her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she also completed her pediatric residency.
After practicing pediatrics for several years in California, Dr. Zakhidova was excited to return to North Texas to be closer to family and care for children in the community where she grew up. She looks forward to building long-lasting relationships with her patients and families.
When she isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Zakhidova enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, experiencing different cultures, and crafting. Dr. Zakhidova is fluent in English and Russian.
